We value the reflections and feedback of all our Teacher Trainers. It helps us conserve our consistency and motivates us to do better still…
The entire gamut of the Course was covered in the programme, from the introduction to activity-based teaching. The CIPP syllabus was interesting and important because of the gradual transition from lower to higher level. Names of related websites were also provided. The checkpoint examination was a unique feature of this curriculum. Since in an international school there are children from diverse nationalities, cultures, backgrounds, the role of a teacher is very important and this was stressed during this workshop. It was a comprehensive workshop, with loads of activities.
Gyaltsen Lama, Teacher, Campion International School, Siliguri, West Bengal
A totally new methodology of teaching was introduced to us. An interactive method of teaching, with presentations and real life examples made this workshop a very interesting one.
Pankti Jamindar, Teacher, Tulip International School, Ahmedabad
All six days of the programme were very interesting. It encouraged us to be more confident. The best part of the programme was the pattern of questions, which invariably would bring out the best in a child. Children should be given an impetus to sharpen their thinking skills. This point was majorly emphasized in the course of the programme.
Tinku Saha, Teacher, Campion International School, Siliguri, West Bengal
The course was very well organized and resourceful. I enjoyed the group activities. The Reflective Report was the exercise that would really help us the most.
Subrata Das, Teacher, Scholastica, Dhaka, Bangladesh
The course taught us to be more articulate and systematic. The practice session was the most enjoyable.
Nazrul Islam Rizvi, Teacher, Chittagong Grammar School, Bangladesh
My approach towards ‘learning’ (not teaching) will never be the same again. Thank you very much for guiding me like the way you did.
Manisha Rudra, Teacher, Calcutta International School, Kolkata
The class discussions and presentation helped me to open up. I shall take the bold step of gently suggesting certain aspects of this course to be incorporated on the slightly non-flexible institution.
Victor Conrad Mercer, Prudence International School & Junior College, Mumbai
The course was very constructive, educative and reviving to my knowledge. I will try to implement the Weekly Reflective Report of the teachers at first and then move on to other features.
Ruth Hrangchal, Teacher, State Govt. of Mizoram
I think the new methodologies will take some time to be imbibed, but one special feature of this course, was the stress laid on assessing a child’s psychology during education. As teachers, it is very important for us to constantly evaluate ourselves and adopt changes wherever necessary.
R. Lalramengzami, Teacher, State Govt. of Mizoram
Thank you for giving me back myself.
Angshumitra, Teacher, Calcutta International School
The ‘Micro Teaching Method’ was a really feature. This will help us to make lesser mistakes in front of students. Other very interesting points were creating a debate situation in class, keeping and maintaining a teachers’ diary, making a journal and evaluating oneself.
Bernard Moktan, Administrative Co-ordinator, Campion International School, Siliguri, West Bengal
The course taught us to be more articulate and systematic. The practice session was the most enjoyable.
Shaheda Afroze, Teacher, SPEED (Services for Professional Education &Enterprise Development), Dhaka, Bangladesh
The impact of this learning programme has been tremendous. I am glad I was a part of it. It was an eye opener of what we are and what we can be.
Sharmila Majumdar, Teacher, Calcutta International School, Kolkata
