Cambridge International Diploma & Certificate for Teachers and Trainers

The Cambridge International Diploma & Certificates for Teachers and Trainers are designed with working teachers in mind.  Their purpose is to offer in-service teachers the opportunity for continuous professional development by allowing them to apply new learning to the classroom situation as their training progresses.

The Courses will help to:

• Introduce curriculum development successfully

The CIDTT and CICTT take a very unique approach to education wherein:

»	They provide the focus on students’ learning through which one may measure the effectiveness of teaching and reflective introspection
»	They differ from other teaching qualifications that suggest a division between theoretical knowledge of pedagogy and its implementation in the classroom
»	Their unusual and novel structures seek both to improve the teachers’ classroom practice as they are learning, and also to encourage them to inculcate these in their regular teaching styles

Candidates may be full or part-time teachers or trainers, working in any kind of institution (educational or corporate), at any level, or with any subjects. 

The Diploma is a more exhaustive and advanced course comprising of four modules along with assignments whereas the certificate course is shorter with one single assignment and serves as a good refresher for teachers wanting to explore modern learner-centric methodologies.

University of Cambridge International Examinations assesses all assignments in the UK, and directly awards the qualifications to successful candidates. 

The qualifications are awarded to candidates who successfully complete assignments in which they demonstrate their skills and knowledge during their own teaching and training practice. The standards are generic and relevant to all teaching and learning contexts, while the assessment enables the application of these standards in the particular, individual and local context.
